The Kajeet SmartSpot is a portable Wi-Fi hotspot device that provides your child with safe, education-only Internet access wherever there is cellular coverage. What does it do? It allows access the Internet to complete homework assignments, read online textbooks, collaborate with classmates or connect with teachers. Your child will not be able to access any entertainment, adult or inappropriate content. What information can be tracked on this device? The Kajeet SmartSpot is provided by Stillwater County Library (possibly through your school) for your child(ren) to access the Internet for educational purposes only. Stillwater County Library will have the capability to track device usage trends such as what sites are visited and how much data is downloaded; however, no private information (such as student name, login information, account numbers, etc.) is collected or retained

The Varsity Girls game has been canceled vs. Fromberg (2/10). Senior night will still take place before the start of the boys game. Game times have changed to: JV Boys 4:30 and Varsity Boys 6:00 pm

Boys JV vs. Roberts (2/3) has been canceled. Games will begin with the JV girls at 4:30, VG 6:00, and VB 7:30.

We are currently searching for some aides to help with both elementary and secondary students. It is a great opportunity for a parent who wants to work on the same schedule as their kids. You get to work with a great staff and great students. We start pay at $13/hour, we provide single coverage health insurance for 12 months, we provide for participation in the state retirement system, and we provide for paid sick leave and personal leave. And you work Monday through Thursday when students are in school. Just check out our website and fill out a classified application and submit it to the district office. We are also looking for substitutes for teachers, aides, kitchen help, and custodial help. Again, just fill out a classified application and specify on the top which position you are applying for.

Junior High Boys Basketball starts practice on February 6 at 5:45 AM. Student athletes must have a physical on file with the school dated after June 1, 2022.

Congratulations to Kamry and Savanna for making it to and competing at State! These girls had to compete against all b/c schools that also qualified for state. Despite the nasty weather, the girls gave it their all, and Kamry managed to snag 9th place. Savanna worked hard and also made a fabulous effort, showing much improvement since the beginning of the season. Congrats on a job well done.

Reminder to winners of the football jersey silent auction. You can pay for your jersey at the front office at the school and pick up your jersey.

Congratulations to our Drama Ladies! Both girls placed 6th in their respective events and will be traveling to state. Savanna in Humorous Solo and Kamry in Mime! We will be traveling to Manhattan for the two day competition next Friday! Wonderful job!

Fromberg has forfeited their girls game tonight. New game times for the boys are 5:00 for the boys JV and 6:30 for the boys varsity at Fromberg.

Facilities Committee Meeting at 6 PM, Wednesday, January 18, in the cafeteria. We will review the current status of our facilities and look at district needs.
